Second International Workshop on Spatio-temporal Data Management and Analytics (SDMA’2017)

In conjunction with the APWeb-WAIM Joint Conference on Web and Big Data 2017 (APWeb 2017)

Aim and scope

Mobile devices including smart phones, GPS, sensors, have provided an infrastructure support that leads to a blowout of mobile services and applications, along with which, a variety of user behaviors in forms of tags, locations and trajectories are generated and accumulated. While user behaviors hide great values that help make decisions in many critical applications such as traffic monitoring, urban planning and event detecting. This workshop aims to provide a forum for original research contributions over geospatial data ranging from data storage, query processing, indexing, and knowledge discovery.
